Cranbrook Operatic and Dramatic Society

Our young persons organisation, Chippies, has gone into hibernation.
However, Rachel Elliott, who regularly works with CODS as choreographer,
runs LIMELIGHT which works with youngsters doing much the same work.
It seemed sensible for CODS to help her promote her activities as many
youngsters who learn dramatic skills from her could well utilise them
in CODS productions and are indeed encouraged to do so.
The following describes what Limelight does and how to contact Rachel.

"LIMELIGHT" MUSICAL THEATRE



For Young People aged 6 - 16 yrs. (TERM TIME ONLY)

CLASSES IN:
ACTING, SINGING, DANCE, MUSICAL MOVEMENT, STAGE TECHNIQUE, PROGRAMME DESIGN.
ANNUAL SHOWS.

WORKSHOPS ANNUALLY IN "STREET DANCE", "STAGE MAKE-UP", SINGING, SET DESIGN COSTUME WORKSHOPS.
COMPETITIONS AND OCCASIONAL OUTINGS.
GUEST SPEAKERS FROM THE WORLD OF SHOWBUSINESS, INCLUDING BRIAN PATTON
- DIRECT FROM "CHUCKLEVISION" (Brother to the "Chuckle Brothers).

Classes are based independently at Marlborough House School, Hawkhurst.

COST: - CURRENTLY £55.00 PER TERM. SEVERAL PLACES AVAILABLE FOR AUTUMN TERM 2010. BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

N.B. Rachel is currently choreographing for the CODS Autumn Production of "Kiss Me Kate".
This will be her seventh show for Cranbrook Operatic and Dramatic Society, and she is delighted to be part of the production team once again.
