Welcome to Cranbrook Operatic & Dramatic Society Web Site

Members, past members and friends of CODS will be very sad to hear that Doreen Beardsmore, past President and one of our longest serving members, passed away in her sleep early in the morning of Sunday 15th August. In June last year she was awarded the KDA Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her major contribution to Am Dram in Kent. She will be sorely missed by everyone. We have opened a "Condolences Web-page". Please click here Doreen Beardsmore.
If you would like to make an entry please email Stephen Kent on kent@hollowcrest.com .

A Memorial Service for Doreen was held at 2.00pm on Friday 27th August at St Dunstan's Church, Cranbrook.
The church was full with family and friends. A choir consisting of all Doreen's singing relations and friends filled the church with music which we know Doreen would have loved. In addition, her daughter Annie Chesters sang Laudate Dominum maintaining her poise thoughout. Well done Annie.
There were family flowers only. However donations can be made to Demelza House and Hospice in the Weald via J. Perigoe & Son, Bardens, Bank Street, Cranbrook, Kent. TN17 3EF
