Cranbrook Operatic & Dramatic Society Presents
Thursday 29th - Saturday 31st October

A deliciously dark, wildly funny, Off‑Broadway classic… reborn in Cranbrook.
Step onto Skid Row, where dreams are small, rent is overdue, and something very strange is growing in the window of Mushnik’s Flower Shop. CODS brings you a thrilling new production of Little Shop of Horrors that reaches right back to the original Off‑Broadway roots — intimate, witty, a little rough around the edges, and bursting with character.

This is Little Shop as it was first loved:

Sharp comedy that snaps and sparkles

Gritty charm straight from the sidewalks of Skid Row

Up‑close storytelling that pulls the audience right into the action

All of it wrapped in a soundtrack that’s impossible to resist — a glorious fusion of 1960s girl‑group glamour, rock ‘n’ roll energy, doo‑wop swagger, and a mouth‑watering drop of Motown magic. The result is a musical world that’s nostalgic, vibrant, and wickedly fun.

As Seymour’s mysterious plant begins to grow (and grow… and grow…), so does the chaos, the laughter, and the irresistible pull of this cult favourite. With CODS’ trademark creativity and community spirit, this production promises a night of big heart, big voices, and even bigger surprises.

Get ready for a show that’s bold, cheeky, and utterly unforgettable!
